Recommended Starting Setup

The Recommended Starting Setup is the stable baseline for your first ROCKERON rides. It provides controlled lateral movement while making it easy to get used to the Motion Ball System.

Best for:

  • First ROCKERON rides
  • Easy endurance sessions

Van Rysel D100 / D500

Recommended Starting Setup for Van Rysel D100 and D500 with 22 Hard Motion Balls.

Motion Ball Setup

  • Hard: 22
  • Medium: 0
  • Soft: 0
  • Hard Rubber: 0

Best for:

  • Van Rysel D100 riders
  • Van Rysel D500 riders
  • New ROCKERON users
  • Stable and predictable movement

The Van Rysel trainers use additional Motion Balls due to their different support geometry. Despite the higher number of Motion Balls, the overall ride feel remains comparable to the Wahoo KICKR CORE 2 Recommended Starting Setup.

Why all Motion Balls are Hard

The Recommended Starting Setup uses only Hard Motion Balls. This creates a predictable ride feel and allows riders to learn the system before experimenting with softer or more agile configurations. Once you feel comfortable with the baseline setup, you can explore alternative Motion Ball combinations to increase movement or improve comfort for specific riding styles.

Important

Always check that your trainer, ROCKERON elements and front support are securely installed before riding.
