Speed first. Elevation last.

The route is defined by the contrast between a long, fast opening and one concentrated mountain finish.

The route story

Fuego Flats leads onto Watopia’s southern coast and past several sprint points. After the Mayan Jungle, the route turns into one sustained ascent to the Alpe KOM arch.

Why Agile

Agile keeps the centre responsive on the fast opening while its firmer outer return becomes more useful as climbing torque and body movement rise.

Key load changes

Flat desert speed gives way to twisting coastal roads, a dirt Jungle transition and finally the 12.2 km Alpe du Zwift climb.

Route and setup questions

Why is Agile recommended for Accelerate to Elevate?

The route changes from a fast, mostly flat opening to a long mountain effort. Agile is a useful starting point for that shift in load and position.

Was Accelerate to Elevate separately tested with this setup?

No. The recommendation interprets the published profile through the existing Agile Ride Feel; it is not route-specific validation.

Should I change Motion Balls before reaching the Alpe?

No. Never change Motion Balls while riding. Choose and inspect the complete setup before starting, and make changes only between rides with the system unloaded.
