CLIMB · Agile

Agile is recommended because Quatch Quest alternates rollers, two major climbs, descents and repeated seated-to-standing changes. This is not a separately tested or validated Quatch Quest setup.

A climbing quest across Watopia.

Quatch Quest builds from sequoia rollers to Epic KOM and ends with its biggest sustained climb.

The route story

The route runs in reverse through Titans Grove, climbs Epic KOM, descends into the Jungle and then turns up Alpe du Zwift to the summit finish.

Why Agile

Repeated changes in gradient, cadence and position suit Agile’s responsive centre, while firmer outer support provides a clearer return under fatigue.

Key load changes

Titans Grove adds short rollers, Epic KOM creates the first sustained block, and the final 12.2 km Alpe climb arrives after substantial accumulated elevation.

Route and setup questions

Why is Agile recommended for Quatch Quest?

Titans Grove, Epic KOM, the descent and Alpe du Zwift create repeated changes in load and position. Agile is a suitable starting point for that variety.

Is this a separately validated Quatch Quest setup?

No. It is an Agile recommendation based on published route characteristics, not a separate physical route test or validation.

Can I use the same exact layout on any trainer?

No. Rear hardware and Motion Ball positions depend on the smart trainer, and the front layout depends on the bicycle setup. Use the selector for the exact supported configuration.
